Security Solutions Support Engineer

Job description

  • Graduate of Bachelor's Electronics Engineering (ECE) Course or equivalent

  • With solid fundamentals in electronic circuits/systems and software development.

  • With at least 3-5 years of industry experience, preferably in a Systems Integration environment (Access Control System, Surveillance Systems, GPS Trackers, FDAS, IOT etc.)

  • Knowledgeable in the principles of parameter and functional testing of electronic products.

  • Analytical and with attention to details • Showing initiative and keeping up with advancements in Electronics

  • Good understanding of the electronics/security industry/ business processes/ Specifications

  • Conceptualizes, develops, integrates, tests, deploys, documents and supports customized function testers and semi & automated security and life safety systems.

  • Assists with program management and preparation of quotation.

  • Developing effective maintenance, testing, and quality control procedures.

  • Coordinates with principals/manufacturer for equipment deployment and support.

  • Liaising with engineers, other professionals, as well as clients to ensure quality projects are completed to specifications.

  • Ensures quality and on-time delivery, Recommends improvements.

  • Preferred skill(s): familiar with router and switches, CCNA/CCNP, with NOC experience

  • Designing, inspecting, testing, and updating electronic systems, components, equipment, and software.

  • Ensuring all equipment and products meet health and safety regulations.

  • Writing specifications, instructions, reports, and handling other required administrative duties.

  • Observes existing processes and making recommendations for improvement.
